The New-Yorker duo Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels are the makers behind Curtis Jeré and their striking modern designs of the 1960's and 1970's. Sculptures, Lighting, Mirrors created by the pair are praised for their skilled metalwork and creativity.

Raindrops Wall Sculpture, sold on Artnet, 1971. Freiler and Fels started with designing costume jewellery lines for 20 years and employing 300 people before launching Artisan House in 1964. Freiler was head of production and Fels in charge of design, their combined talent has captivated interior designers and collectors from all over the world.  The inspiration behind their work is broad and encompasses many curious objects and abstract shapes: geometrical discs, squares and sculptures of hedgehogs, boats and cranes. The colour palettes uses of all the metallic hues and ageing techniques in a Brutalist approach. According to 1stDibs prices range from $400 - $12,000, depending on the size, the rarity of the piece, the intricacy of the metalwork and the materials used in its construction.
